Schoolinka, we believe that when teachers grow, schools grow, and when schools grow, students thrive.
The School Growth Academy is a fully funded, three-month, cohort-based development program designed for public, low-cost, and mission-driven schools. It helps schools build stronger teaching teams, improve instructional quality, and create a culture of continuous improvement.
Why We’re Doing This
Too often, teacher training happens in isolation like one-off workshops, disconnected from classroom realities. We want to change that.
The School Growth Academy gives schools the structure, community, and tools they need to support teacher growth all year round. By combining digital learning, live coaching, and school-based collaboration, we’re making professional development practical, data-driven, and impactful.
What Schools Will Gain
By joining the School Growth Academy, participating schools will receive:
1. Structured Teacher Training
Access to courses built on the Schoolinka Teacher Competency Framework, covering 6 domains and 23 professional standards.
2. Facilitator-Led Live Sessions
Monthly sessions with expert coaches who guide teachers in applying new classroom strategies.
3. School-Based Learning Communities
Step-by-step Community of Practice guides that help your teachers learn together, reflect, and collaborate.
4. Progress Monitoring Tools
Dashboards and reports to track teacher participation, course completion, and overall growth.
5. Recognition and Certification
A school-wide certificate of completion and digital badges for each participating teacher.
And the best part?
It’s completely free for selected schools.
Who Can Apply
We are looking for schools that are passionate about teacher growth and student achievement.
To qualify, schools must:
- Be located in Lagos, Ogun and Oyo states.
- Commit at least five teachers for the three-month duration
- Provide basic digital access (smartphones, laptops, or internet) for their teachers
- Be willing to share student and teacher performance data with the Schoolinka team
- Public schools, nonprofit education centers, and affordable private schools are all encouraged to apply.
